An intimate, discerning group with a taste for elegance and discretion, and one guiding idea: to show them Madrid from the inside, through its finest addresses.

NEW STORIES designed and delivered a fully bespoke programme for fifteen members of YPO, the global network of chief executives. We took care of everything: shaping the itinerary, selecting the venues, organising every detail and running the programme on the ground.

The Santo Mauro, our home in Madrid

The stay was built around the Santo Mauro, a former palace in the Almagro district and now one of the city’s most discreet hotels.

Members stayed there, and the working sessions took place in a setting as refined as it was conducive to focus.

Madrid through its tables

On the first day, a culinary journey across four historic addresses: tapas, jamón ibérico, Spanish cheeses and a more elaborate final course.

A way to discover the city, its neighbourhoods and its food traditions through the places that give Madrid its soul.

Signature evenings

The highlight of the stay was the evening at Brach Madrid: a fully privatised rooftop, views over the rooftops of Gran Vía and a gastronomic dinner in an intimate setting, reserved for the group alone.

Each of the other evenings had its own character: a whisky and cigar experience at Club Pasión Habanos, which became one of the must-haves of the programme, and a flamenco performance at the legendary Corral de la Morería.

Toledo, a day out of time

A day in Spain’s former imperial capital, with a private tour of the old town designed for the group, followed by lunch overlooking the city and the bends of the Tagus.

A closing night at Palacio de Santoña

For the final evening, Palacio de Santoña opened its doors to the group: a reception in the inner courtyard, followed by dinner in one of its historic salons, beneath painted ceilings and gilded detail.

What we take away

Intimacy is a luxury. With fifteen guests, every moment can be shared, and every detail matters more.

Rhythm shapes the experience. Work, discovery and evening highlights flow into one another, so the programme feels rich and never heavy.

Every venue tells part of the city’s story. Palaces, rooftops, historic houses: each address was chosen to bring a different side of Madrid to life.
